Jan 25, 2008 · One thing I didn't see mentioned in other comments is the possibility that your ISP blocks certain port ranges and/or torrenting. I doubt they'd block 65000, but nothing else works, try a different port that should normally be open. Otherwise, I agree with the one comment that suggested enabling the Firewall if it wasn't already.
